# Breeding

Cukies are truly special, they can **create new life** that will join you on your adventures.

#### *How to breed*

To breed new Cukies, you’ll need:

1. **Two eligible Cukies:** ones that haven’t reached their offspring limit.
2. At least one [**skill gem**](/cukies-world-whitepaper/6.-how-to-play/skill-gems.md)**.**

#### *Offspring rarity*

The **rarity of a newborn Cukie** depends largely on **its parents**, who can pass down part of their genetics. However, there’s always an element of **luck and surprise**.

For example, although rare, even two Common Cukies could produce a GOAT offspring.
