# Cukie Pools

Players without Cukies can borrow them from the **Cukie Pools** and earn up to **50% of the UKI tokens** they generate.

When a player borrows a Cukie, one from the **Original Cukies Pool** will be assigned first; if none are available, a **2nd Generation Cukie** from its pool will be assigned instead.

#### ***Seikus***

If no Cukies are available in either pool, the player will be assigned a **Seiku,** a character identical to a Cukie, with basic stats similar to those of a Common 2nd Generation Cukie. Seikus are **not NFTs** and **do not belong to the player**.

When playing with a Seiku, players still earn **50% of the generated tokens**, but those tokens are **non-withdrawable** and can only be used **within the ecosystem**. The other 50% goes to the **Original Cukie Pool**.
