A **Cukie Hodler** is any user who **owns one or more Cukies**, there are no additional requirements.

Cukie Hodlers can earn rewards in **two main ways**:

#### ***1.- Play in Cukies Island and earn UKI tokens***

Hodlers can play in **Free Mode** on Cukies Island, and also join **daily challenges** in Cukies Island and Treasure Hunt using their own credits or those borrowed from the [pool](/cukies-world-whitepaper/6.-how-to-play/competition-credit-pool.md).

See [*Game Modes*](/cukies-world-whitepaper/6.-how-to-play/game-modes.md) for details.

#### ***2.- Lend their Cukies and share rewards***

If a Cukie Hodler prefers passive income, they can **lend their Cukies** through one of two pools:

* **Original Cukie Pool**
* **2nd Generation Cukie Pool**

50% of the tokens generated by players using each Cukie go back into the respective pool, distributed among Hodlers based on **Cukie rarity:**

| Cukie Rarity        |    %   |
| ------------------- | :----: |
| All                 | 16.66% |
| Uncommon or higher  | 16.66% |
| Rare or higher      | 16.66% |
| Epic or higher      | 16.66% |
| Legendary or higher | 16.66% |
| Goat                | 16.66% |
